Polyurea Coating
Polyurea coating is a very durable, tough material that we can work with as an alternative to paint when coating detention equipment. It is very abrasive resistant and is great for putting on things that take a lot of abuse. We helped introduce Polyurea to the jail cell and detention industry around 10 or so years ago.
It offers a variety of performance characteristics. It cures rapidly (15-20 seconds), is compliant with volatile organic compound regulations and it’s high build , so it can provide multiple coat performance in a single coat application. This makes it attractive to facility owners representing many different industries. It has also been designed with anti microbial/anti bacterial properties that can be used in flooring and on furniture that would be in detention centers.
